SELF CATERING 

Nine Fully Air-Conditioned Chalets, three of which are wheelchair friendly (with assistance). The latest 4 chalets all sleep two adults, and boast with outside shower and is on the water's edge.

3 Stone Cottages, each sleeping two persons with private stone bathrooms, braai and kitchenette Rustic and built entirely from stones collected in the area . Cottage No.3 comes with a wild fig tree in the bathroom so prepare yourself for a one of a kind experience.

Waterfront House sleeps 10 adults, with braai inside and outside, and mooring place for your boat. Fully Fitted Kitchen (even with dishwasher), Separate Dining Room, Indoor and outdoor Braais, 3 Bathrooms.

WE ALSO OFFER RENTAL OF KAYAKS AND HAVE A BARGE TO RENT FOR THE EARLY MORNING DAM TRIP OR SUNSET CRUISE

CAMPING 

Camping includes Private Camping (K1 – K6), General Camping (A1 – A14, B1 – B3) and Waterfront Camping (G1 – G2).

The only establishment with fully lawned right through the year on all camping sites. All sites with electricity and braais.

The Private Camping each has their own bathroom, kitchen area, and braai. All have a fridge-freezer combo.

Luxury Private Camping same as Private Camping, but with added air-conditioned bedroom that sleeps 4 adults. It also has a microwave and kettel. Bring your own utencils and crockery.

Activities & Facilities

Rondeberg is a mecca for the water sports enthusiast, where they can enjoy water skiing, stand up paddle boarding, canoeing, or just cruising on the water to their heart’s delight.

We now have 6 x Van Hunks Bluefin Kayaks to rent on a daily basis. The kayaks are rented from reception.

Kids LOVE Rondeberg. Should they not wish to run around and enjoy the freedom of not being in a town or city, they can enjoy playing in the kids play area containing swings, a jungle gym and a climbing frame. Feeding the ducks on the duck pond and running around are some of the highlights for the young ones.

The SWIMMING POOL is situated in front of the stone cottages, with a beautiful view over the Bulshoek Dam and the surrounds. We provide a limited amount of pool loungers, but you are welcome to bring your own.

There are lovely HIKING TRAILS in Rondeberg Resort, with the main hiking trial all the way around the “koppie”, called Rondeberg. Allow about 3 hours for this venture, and you will be rewarded not only with a very diverse variety of fauna, but you will be rewarded with stunning views over the Bulshoek Dam and Olifants River Valley. You might even come across Bushman Paintings and a Cave…

The TUCK SHOP sells firewood, ice and other basic necessities.

LAUNDRY FACILITIES with a washing machine and tumble drier for guests to make use of come in handy for those staying a bit longer, or for kids that need to go back to boarding schools on Monday after spending the weekend with the family at Rondeberg. It is situated next to the dishwashing facilities at the main ablution block.
