Redford House Accommodation
The Accommodation consists of three units, which are separate from the old Redford farmhouse. They are Noble House, The Carriage House and Mrs. Tiggy Winkle's Self Catering Cottage. The rooms are airy and spacious, but at the same time they are cosy. Modern facilities make for comfortable living.
Noble House:
Noble House is self -catering with a new state of the art kitchen and sun-deck. The kitchen has all modern conveniences including a washing machine and a dryer, and Noble House has had a face lift from top to toe including solar heating.
It has two double bedrooms with extra large king sized beds and bath and shower en-suite upstairs, and a very large double sitting room downstairs. Adjacent to it, at the back, are carports. Facilities include a writing room on the landing between the bedrooms upstairs, T.V., tea and coffee making facilities, hair dryers, towel heaters, electric blankets, room heaters, romantic fire places and a bar fridge downstairs.
There are lovely views of the Tsitsikamma mountains and the surrounding countryside, nature reserve, lake and ponds, gardens and old oaks. This is luxury accommodation and is suitable for four friends travelling together, two separate couples, a family, or singles. We are very "single friendly" and a very small single supplement is charged. There is a breakfast option for R120 extra per person.
Carriage House:
The Carriage House is a renovated barn which had a checkered history as a stable, shop, and wagon /carriage house. The walls are very thick and the ceiling is constructed of 12 whole poplar trees supporting an oregon pine ceiling. It is now a very large double bedroom with bath and separate shower en-suite, a queen sized bed, and sitting area. It is furnished with antiques, and has tea and coffee making facilities, heater, towel heater, electric blanket and hair dryer.
There are very nice views of the surrounding countryside, the nature reserve, gardens, lake, lily pond and old oaks. This room is suitable for a couple or a single person. A very small single supplement is charged. A hearty breakfast is served either in the farmhouse kitchen or on the patio overlooking the pool.
Mrs Tiggy Winkle:
This cottage is self-catering and consists of bedroom, sitting/dining room, kitchen, bathroom with bath and shower. It has a second small bedroom which is adjacent to the bathroom and is suitable for a child. The cottage has its own garden and barbecue facilities. Other facilities include fridge, stove, micro-wave oven, hairdryer, heater, electric blankets.
