Welcome to Nukakamma - Nestled on the banks of the beautiful Sundays River, and a mere 3km from the world-renowned Addo Elephant National Park, our two properties, Nukakamma River Lodge and Nukakamma Guest House awaits to welcome you.

Did you know Greater Addo is also the ONLY place in the world that is home to the “BIG 7”  – elephant, rhino, lion, buffalo, leopard, southern right whale and great white shark?

Nukakamma River Lodge

The fast-flowing water of the Sundays River, the endless white sands of the Alexandria Dune Fields and the close proximity of the Addo Elephant Park, provide the setting for the ultimate bush and beach experience at Nukakamma River Lodge.

Nukakamma River Lodge has 4 en-suite bed and breakfast rooms as well as 2 self-catering cottages located on site. 

The central dining and lounge areas located in the main guest house, feature beautiful furniture and African curios collected throughout the years from all over Africa.

Take your time to savour our sumptuous breakfast in the morning and raise a toast to the beauty of nature with a sundowner on the deck as you watch the beautiful African sunset and views extending out to the river and dune fields. 

Our custom handmade wooden beds and furniture, 100% cotton linen and our onsite curio shop, completes the experience.

Nukukamma Guest House

Nukakamma Guest House offers lovely views of the plateau’s ridge inside the Elephant Park and you may even spot some game from our upstairs wooden decks while sipping on sundowners.

Accommodation consists of 3 guest bedrooms in the Main House as well as a 2 bedroomed self-catering cottage.  The cottage is fully equipped and features a kitchen, lounge, dining room and private deck with a weber braai.

Each guest room in the Main House has a private ensuite bathroom with towels and linen provided. We have secure onsite parking as well as an alarm system for our guests’ complete peace of mind.

Nukakamma Guest House offers traditional South African dinners to both Guest House and Self-Catering guests on request. Guests can enquire directly with the Guest House regarding our daily menu, guided game drives into the Park, cruises on the Sunday’s River or any other special requests.

From the moment you step into our Guest House you’ll find an array of energy-efficient amenities designed to maximize comfort while minimizing energy consumption.
